One thing I realized early in life is this:
You can only rise to the level of your understanding.
For years, I pondered deeply on what the Kingdom truly is—its purpose, its value, and how one enters into it. Why is it so cherished, and what is the ultimate outcome?
I eventually came to see that if the Kingdom is real, it must operate by divine design—a formula, a system, a set of principles that activate it. And like any system, it must be understood part by part.
THE FIRST COMMANDMENT: THE FOUNDATION
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” — Matthew 22:37
This is the key. Without it, you go nowhere.
To unlock the Kingdom, you must first invest time in knowing His ways—through prayer, study, and obedience.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33
When you align your life in love with The Most High, your spirit becomes synchronized to hear Him clearly. It’s like tuning into His frequency—subscribing to His channel and staying locked in.
THE KINGDOM WITHIN
“The kingdom of God is within you.” — Luke 17:21
If the Kingdom is within, then the journey begins inward. It requires self-examination—understanding who you are, what you must change, and what wisdom you must acquire to unlock what’s already inside.
Wisdom became the link I sought to understand. The more I studied, the more I realized:
The Kingdom and wisdom are intertwined.
The Kingdom operates through wisdom—it is, at its core, a system of self-governance rooted in obedience to the Most High’s will.
WISDOM OVER WEALTH
I once heard a quote that changed my perspective:
“It doesn’t matter how rich you are if you’re still making poor decisions.”
You can build fortunes, yet crumble under foolishness. But if you cultivate wisdom, every decision becomes a seed that multiplies over time.
True dominion begins when you master yourself—when you learn self-governance through Biblical principles and understand what faith truly means.
“But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.” — James 1:6
The Centurion’s faith (Matthew 8:5–13) demonstrates obedience first and confidence second—acting in faith before seeing the results. That’s what it means to build your house on the rock.
“Whoever hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” — Matthew 7:24
THE FRAMEWORK OF DOMINION
Everything in life operates within systems:
- Choices — What you say, do, and consume (what you see, hear, and eat).
- People — Who you surround yourself with and who influences your growth.
- Systems — The ones you build, the ones you use, and the ones you join.
- Reactions — How you respond to outcomes, both good and bad.
Master these variables through the wisdom of Proverbs, and you begin to see the pattern—the framework that leads to Kingdom living.
Like any well-designed system, when you follow the instructions correctly, the results speak for themselves. There is dominion in the design.
“By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established.” — Proverbs 24:3
FINAL THOUGHT
If you set your goals high enough, your actions will begin to rise to meet them. Seek the Kingdom first, and in time you will attract all that is also seeking you.
“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” — Matthew 6:33
And when that time comes, you will have the wisdom, discipline, and faith to steward it well.
